Discover the scenery and architecture of cultures past and present

One of the longest rivers in Morocco, the Draa originates in the High Atlas Mountains and snakes its way through the desert creating a magical landscape of irrigated fields, lush palmeraies, rocky promontories and of course imposing Kasbahs.

Tributaries carve their way through stunning mountains creating  the dramatic Dades and Todra Gorges.  While the wider parts of the valley are where the famous Rose du Maroc is grown and celebrated in an annual festival.

This is an incredible backdrop to discover the history and culture of the peoples who built and still live in the hundreds of Kasbahs that make this area of Morocco unique.

The Kasbahs themselves  are fortified houses perfectly designed for the Moroccan climate.
